Job Searching
In the old days, you would go to the “Help Wanted” section of the newspaper to look for a job. Today we have online versions of newspapers that still have the “Help Wanted” sections, and other places like Craigslist feature a JOBS section.
Often going and speaking to a store manager and saying “I have often thought I would like to work here, do you have any openings today?” can get you a job if you keep stopping back periodically. (it has worked for me!)
But today we live in a more convenient way of job hunting…. the search engine being our chief tool. Use them to compile the list of places you will contact.
